We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our new undergraduates at Bristol Dental School!
This week saw our new undergraduate intake arrive with us here in the Dental School. 80 BDS students and 12 BSc in Hygiene and Therapy students received a very useful “Welcome Week”. There were a wide variety of introductory talks ranging from Head of School Professor Peter Robinson and Senior Tutor Dr Angela Hague, through to meeting the UBDSS committee and hearing from academics involved in teaching the brand new Year 1 BDS curriculum.
This was all followed by the annual Meet Your Personal Tutor Lunch. This gave the new students a chance to meet their Personal Tutor and have a chat about their expectations over a nice lunch. We wish the new Year 1 students on both the BDS and BSc courses every success for both this year and the years ahead.
