Dental nurses from South Bristol Community Hospital visited Filwood Community Centre in Knowle recently to continue their liaison with the local community as part of the dental outreach engagement programme. The team, lead by Zara Plumley, aim to improve oral health awareness and sign up suitable potential patients for student clinics. The programme also includes working with the SBCH management team on local diabetes and Alzheimer’s awareness initiatives.
