Dental Trauma Guide – Library access

We’re pleased to report that the Dental Trauma Guide is now accessible via the University Library.

This online resource aims to be the world-leading tool in the field of evidence based, dental traumatology with easy-to-follow, animated treatment demonstrations.

This subscription was requested by students and staff in the Dental School when the publisher, the University Hospital of Copenhagen, was obliged to put up a paywall to cover their costs.  We had to go through a formal process to request funding via the Medical Libraries Liaison Committee, competing with multiple requests from across the Biomedical and Health Sciences Faculties, but found out recently that this had been successful.

To use this resource we recommend you go via the Library website and search for “Dental Trauma Guide” in the UoB Collections, and follow the link for online access.

If you are working off-campus you will be directed through the University’s new proxy server, known as EZproxy, and prompted for your University of Bristol username and password.

Students please note: you need to enter your username in the form ab12345@bristol.ac.uk and NOT @my.bristol

If you have any problems with access please email the Subject Librarian for Dentistry:
