Recently our first year dental students spent the day learning how to design and manufacture CAD-CAM dental restorations using the latest scanning and milling software. Thanks to Sirona, the students had a chance to learn the theory behind this technology as well as practice the technical aspects of this advanced system.
CAD-CAM is quickly infiltrating every aspect of dentistry. With this learning experience, the students are armed with the tools that will soon be a part of their everyday working lives. The department of Restorative Dentistry is very pleased to have been able to offer our students this fantastic opportunity and we hope they will use this later in their careers.
