BDS student presents at IADR conference

Further to our earlier post Success for Bristol dental researchers at upcoming IADR conference, intercalating BDS student Serena Dodhia presented at the conference a couple of weeks ago in London.  Here’s what Serena had to say…

Serena with her poster.

“I enjoyed presenting a poster at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) conference from the 25-28th July held at the ExCel London Convention Centre. The poster was based on my research project from my intercalating BSc in Genomic Medicine. I carried out a Mendelian Randomisation analysis to investigate whether vitamin D is a modifiable risk factor for dental caries. It was a great experience and I also really enjoyed hearing other researchers share their work.  I look forward to returning to the dental school in September to continue with my studies.”

Well done Serena!
